Udi's Gluten Free Bread
Udi's has always been one of my favorite brands that provide gluten-free options and is probably one of the most well known. But that doesn't always mean all their products are the best. When I tried Udi's bread for the first time I honestly wasn't that impressed. It wasn't as soft or fluffy that I remembered from regular bread. For sandwiches this wasn't exactly what I was hoping for. But maybe it was just me, they have tons of different varieties and I'm sure you can find a way for it to taste good too!
Upside - Many varieties for different gluten-free options.
Downside - Not the best bread quality you would want for sandwiches, also small bread size.
Rudi's Gluten Free Bread
For Rudi's Gluten-free Bread, I really didn't know what to expect! I always heard many great things about the brand and their bread so I had to give it a try. With overall quality I found Rudi's bread was much better than Udi's. It was much more durable and had a lot better texture and flavor too. But I found it was still missing something that I missed from regular bread. I will say this brand is my favorite for making gluten-free french toast though.
Upside - Better durability for sandwiches and bigger bread size.
Downside - Not soft or fluffy like regular bread would be.
Kinnikinnick gluten-free bread is my personal favorite of all breads. Their bread is a little harder to find in stores but is worth it when you do. I think it's perfect for making toast or any type of sandwich. It's soft, fluffy, and resembles any normal bread like you remember. Their aren't many different varieties of gluten-free breads from Kinnikinnick, but I feel that will change since it's still a new product.
Upside - Fluffy, soft, a gluten-free bread like no other!
Downside - Not many types of gluten-free bread unlike Rudi's and Udi's, also can be hard to find.
This is actually a new gluten-free bread I just tried and really loved. I was craving a PB & J really bad and was looking for the perfect bread to fulfill my craving. Kinnikinnick would be my #1 choice but I sadly can't find it at my store anymore. Luckily this bread was just as good! It was fluffy, a good size, almost no holes what so ever, and tasted amazing. If you would like a bread for making small sandwiches or PB & J..this gluten-free bread is perfect!
Upside - Fluffy, great taste, soft, no holes!
Downside - Like most gluten-free breads the size could be a little better..
Upside - Fluffy, good texture, lots of slices, long lasting, hardly any holes!
Downside - Bigger bread size would be nice but all in all a great bread!
Note: This review was strictly out of my opinion and I am in no way a sales person or trying to sell this product. I also was in no way payed to review or endorse these products either.
If their are any other brands of gluten-free bread that you have tried or heard of let me know! I will gladly try and leave a review for it. Thanks!
